KidSmart Cabo San Lucas
The purpose of Project KidSmart is to see that achievement oriented low-income kids get a high school diploma. Although it is the case that schooling is free in the Baja - up to Junior High - there are other mandatory fees to be paid (uniforms, supply costs etc.) that are too much for some families who would rather have their kids working. Contributing financially to the household is a short term solution. Baja's next generation needs to be educated!
